oh hell...
It's been awhile since i've like something Hellz Bellz has put out. I get their motives/direction but i guess i usually go with more of the Married to the Mob/NYC feel as far as style. Hellz has gone for the more trendy, LA style with the oversized shirts, round Siouxie and the Banshees hats, etc. BUT their late summer collection seems to be more punk, which is a look i can get into. Here are some of my favs!

Santiago.. i love you.
Came across an artist that i think is truly amazing and inspirational. Santiago Ydanez. His portraits have so much expression and a style that is really his own. The subjects are interesting with a hint of darkness that i love. Check him out.

Wish i could be a California Girl...
Well, i got back from LA 3 days ago. All i can say is, i can't wait to go back. I literally want to sell everything i own and move there. We had so much fun and there's so much to do there. In 6 days, we went to 2 different beaches, were on a live show taping, went on a Haunted Hollywood Tour, went to Forest Lawn Cemetery, Echo Park, Mark got tattooed in Tarzana, shopped on all the infamous roads, saw a movie at Universal City Walk... i mean, wow. All this is a beautiful atmosphere. Every part of LA has interesting architecture, beautiful greenery, history, and character. Street art is still very alive. Tasteful in most cases, too. Here are some of my favorite shots.
